The Academy and the ABC Television Network today announced key dates for the 91st Oscars®. The Academy Awards® presentation will air live on ABC on Oscar® Sunday, February 24, 2019.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today announced that Daniel Fellman has been named governor of the Academy’s Executives Branch. Fellman will serve out the remainder of William Mechanic’s term which concludes on June 30, 2019. Mechanic announced his resignation from the Board on April 12.

The Academy is now accepting entries for its 2018 Student Academy Awards® competition.  All Student Academy Award® winners become eligible for Oscars® consideration.  The entry deadline for submissions is Friday, June 1.
