Director Brett Ratner reveals how movies changed the course of his life

"I ate, slept and breathed fillm," says Brett Ratner about his childhood, a time of his life when it was easier for him to make a movie than write an essay.
The Rush Hour director, who grew up in Florida, admits that even though he knows all about the mechanics of movie-making, he still gets lost in the story.
"I'm the best audience member," Ratner said. "I always get caught up in it."
