THE ACADEMY TO HONOR MICHAEL J. FOX, EUZHAN PALCY,
DIANE WARREN AND PETER WEIR WITH OSCARS®
AT GOVERNORS AWARDS IN NOVEMBER

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today that its Board of Governors voted to present Honorary Awards to Euzhan Palcy, Diane Warren and Peter Weir, and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to Michael J. Fox.  The four Oscar® statuettes will be presented at the Academy’s 13th Governors Awards on Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Los Angeles.

The Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted today to name Bill Kramer, current Director and President of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, as its new CEO, following the departure of Dawn Hudson after 11 years of esteemed service.

The Academy Board of Governors has confirmed the reappointment of current governors-at-large DeVon Franklin (Executives Branch), Rodrigo García (Directors Branch) and Janet Yang (Producers Branch).  They will each serve an additional three-year term beginning on July 1.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and ABC today announced the 95th Oscars® will take place on Sunday, March 12, 2023.  The show will air live on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide from the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
