The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today announced special public programing, from April 26-May 1, in conjunction with the 2017 Film Librarians Conference - Documenting Cinema: Film Librarianship in the 21st Century and the 2017 FIAF Conference. Screenings will include a preview of a the new documentary "Harold and Lillian: A Hollywood Love Story," "Party Girl" in 35mm, a Spanish-language double feature, and "Interstellar" in 70mm with three-time Oscar® nominee Christopher Nolan.

The Academy’s Board of Governors approved Oscars® rules and campaign regulations for the 90th Academy Awards® at their most recent Board meeting on Tuesday, March 28.

Sixteen Entertainment Industry Partners Participate in Pilot Year

OSCARS DATES SELECTED FOR 2019, 2020 AND 2021

The Academy and the ABC Television Network today announced key dates for the 90th Oscars®. The Academy Awards® presentation will air live on ABC on Oscar® Sunday, March 4, 2018. Dates for the 91st, 92nd and 93rd Oscars presentations are set for February 24, 2019, February 23, 2020, and February 28, 2021, respectively.

New Expanded International Eligibility Winners Eligible for Oscars

The Academy is now accepting entries for its 2017 Student Academy Awards competition.  All Student Academy Award winners become eligible for Oscars consideration.  The entry deadline for submissions is Thursday, June 1.

We sincerely apologize to "Moonlight," "La La Land," Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for Best Picture. The presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected.
