To ensure public safety, support security strategies and facilitate the production of this year’s Oscars®, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the City of Los Angeles have finalized street closure plans around the Dolby Theatre™ at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood.

To accommodate the construction of press risers, fan bleachers and pre-show stages along the Oscars red carpet, Hollywood Boulevard will be closed between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive beginning at 10 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, and remain closed until 6 a.m. on Wednesday March 7.

Producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd today announced the first slate of presenters for the 90th Oscars® telecast.  Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the Oscars will air live Sunday, March 4, on the ABC Television Network.

The Academy will host live Oscar® viewing parties in New York and London for its members and invited film industry guests on Oscar Sunday, March 4. The Oscars®, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.

Producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd today announced 10 key members of the production team for the 90th Oscars®, which will air live on Sunday, March 4, on ABC.

“This team brings more than 90 years of combined Oscars telecast experience,” said De Luca and Todd. “Collaborating with them as we celebrate the 90th year of the Oscars is both fitting and thrilling.”

In the week leading up to the 90th Oscars®, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present a series of public programs celebrating this year’s nominees in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short Subject, Foreign Language Film, Makeup and Hairstyling, Original Score, and Animated and Live Action Short Film categories.  Events will be held at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills and Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and The Los Angeles Philharmonic today announced details of The Oscar® Concert, a special, one- night-only celebration of film music at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 8:00 p.m.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Actress-comedian Tiffany Haddish and actor-director Andy Serkis, joined by Academy President John Bailey, announced the 90th Academy Awards® nominations today (January 23) live from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater via a global live stream on Oscar.com, Oscars.org, the Academy’s digital platforms, a satellite feed and broadcast media.

The 90th Academy Awards® nominations in all 24 Oscar® categories will be announced in a two-part, live presentation on Tuesday, January 23, via global live stream on Oscar.com, Oscars.org, the Academy’s digital platforms, a satellite feed and local broadcasters.  The announcement will combine live presentations from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater, with pre-taped category introductions, which will only be featured in the first half of the announcement.
