In this week’s Academy Originals episode, Oscar-winning screenwriter David Seidler (The King's Speech) shares his creative process with us and demystifies his craft.
"I'm a storyteller. All of us screenwriters, that's all we are. We're nothing fancy. We can't earn a living any other way than lying and telling stories,” Seidler said before comparing writing to the subtle art of fly fishing.
To compare Seidler’s approach to that of another successful screenwriter who also likes to utilize notecards to organize his scripts, check out this episode featuring Milk writer Dustin Lance Black.
