Reba Merrill, an Emmy Award-winning journalist, author, and speaker, is probably best known as an accomplished interviewer. In 2014, Merrill began digitizing her collection of hundreds of unique and insightful interviews with film industry luminaries for use in the official Hollywood Walk of Fame app., which will showcase clips from her interviews tied to the accompanying sidewalk stars on the Walk of Fame. That same year, she agreed to donate all of her unedited video interview footage to the Academy Film Archive for use in its research and access programs. The collection consists of over a thousand videotapes of interviews with filmmakers and performers conducted between 1983 and 2006.
