25 years ago, the Academy’s Board of Governors formed the Academy Film Archive with a commitment to create a “world class” archive dedicated to collecting, preserving, and restoring films.  We celebrate the variety and depth of our collections and restoration projects that have been accomplished thus far with new restoration premieres, original Technicolor prints, major studio classics, independent films, experimental films, silent films, donor spotlights, and start off in a big way with a 70mm sensation…
