Sound is crucial to the telling of a visual story. In this clip program, a panel of sound experts will explore the basics of sound design, editing, mixing and the preparation of sound for immersive premium theatrical environments and formats.
Panelists include Teri Dorman, supervising dialogue editor; John Paul Fasal, sound effects recording mixer; Ai-Ling Lee, sound designer; Scott Millan, re-recording mixer; Dan O’Connell, foley artist; Lee Orloff, production sound mixer; Brian Slack, senior manager, Professional Audio, Xperi; Mark Stoeckinger, supervising sound editor. Karol Urban, recording mixer and co-editor of the Cinema Audio Society Quarterly, will moderate the discussion.
