In the first of a new series featuring conversations with authors, writer and comedian Frank DeCaro (Sirius XM, “The Daily Show”) discussed his new book, Drag: Combing Through the Big Wigs of Show Business, with film critic Alonso Duralde (The Wrap, “Linoleum Knife” podcast). DeCaro’s book is an encyclopedic look at the evolution of drag as an art form over the past 100+ years of entertainment, covering everyone from Julian Eltinge in the 1910s to RuPaul and Tyler Perry.
