of Oz", "Singin' In The Rain" and "The Manchurian
Candidate." The entire world of cinema, as only Hirschfeld
can portray it, unfolds in this radiant volume. The books forward
is from screenwriter, playwright and Hirschfeld admirer Larry Gelbert;
the text is by David Leopold, Hirschfeld's personal archivist.
