80th Academy Awards press kits are now available.
All press registered in the Academy Press Database will be able to access these materials. To register, go to http://presslist.oscars.org/fmi/xsl/ampaspubs/main.xsl and click on the "Register" button under "CREATE NEW ACCOUNT" and follow the instructions. Those already registered may view or update their account information as necessary.

The 80th Academy Awards® press kit contains information about the Academy as an institution, its membership, its history, an explanation of voting procedures, information about the producer, host and other key participants in the telecast, an OscarŪ Quiz (with answers), approved artwork of the Oscar statuette, high-resolution images and other factual information.

The Nominations Announcement press kit contains a complete list of the nominees in all categories, as well as photos and production notes for the films nominated for Best Picture and Best Animated Feature. Also included are photos and bios of the nominees in the Acting, Directing and Writing categories, and additional information of note about the nominees. Please note this kit will not require registration in the press list.

Pre-events Press Photos Galleries (IMAGES ARE POSTED AS EVENTS TAKE PLACE) contain a selection of images highlighting the events leading up to the 80th Academy Awards. Press releases with additional details about each event are also available.

The 80th Academy Awards® Press Photo Gallery (AVAILABLE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2008) will contain a selection of images from key moments during the event. Photos from the red carpet, the theater stage and the backstage press rooms will be included.
