In today's video we delve into the mysteriously unresolved question: who named the Academy Award "Oscar?"

"There are three people who claimed they named it Oscar," actor and film historian Robert Osborne said, noting Bette Davis among them. "The only thing we are sure about is it happened around 1935 - around the 7th or 8th year of the Academy Awards."
