The expansive collection of noted film historian and archivist Robert Harris incorporates nitrate and safety film, video tapes, and audio elements for an array of notable titles. Established at the Academy Film Archive over 15 years ago (and continually growing ever since), this deposit of over 1,100 items includes “The Third Man” (1949), the 1981 restoration of “Napoléon” (1927), and “Lawrence of Arabia” (1962), with outtakes and original make-up tests for Peter O’Toole.
