The Franklin J. Schaffner Collection was donated to the Archive in 1991 by Mrs. Franklin J. Schaffner. The collection contains eleven 16mm prints of films directed by the Oscar-winning director, including dye-transfer Technicolor prints. The donation also included seven posters, given to the Academy’s Margaret Herrick Library.
