Last year the Academy established a new tradition when it hosted a symposium celebrating the work of the Oscar-nominated makeup artists and hairstylists for 2006. The event was so popular that for 2007 the symposium has been moved to the 1,016 seat Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
In Oscar Week’s culminating public event, the nominees for this year’s Makeup award discussed their creative process and presented film clips, photographs and models of their work.
